Herman Barnes

BARNES, H. Ray, 81, of Tampa, formerly of Brandon, born in Sturgeon, MO.,.died Friday, December 14, 2007. His survivors include his loving companion of 28 years, Alva Avalotis; a daughter, Barbara Greer and husband John of New Orleans, LA; a sister Margaret Embree of Centralia, MO; several cousins including Ruby Barnes of Sturgeon, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. A Celebration of his life will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at New Life Unity Church, 13540 North Florida Avenue, Tampa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 1501 Pasadena Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33707 or the Johnnie B.
