Schulman, Helen Peretzman, 97, lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area died Sunday, March 8, 2020. Mrs Schulman was a graduate of Hillsborough High School Class of 1937 and then attended Tampa Business University. She was a member of Congregation Rodelph Sholom and taught Sunday School at the Palm Ave. location. She worked as a business manager/ owner. After she retired she volunteered in the Pinellas County School system and was honored as Volunteer of the Year. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years Robert Schulman who became a POW while serving in WWII. Survivors include her daughter Susan (Howard) Schulman and daughter Linda (Ted) Sharp: Brother Charles Perry; Grandchildren Robert (Alison)Sharp, Brian (Taylor) Sharp, Bradley Sharp, and Brent Sharp; great-granddaughter Brooklyn Sharp and great-grandson Beckett Sharp; niece Melissa Prieto. A Graveside service was held on March 10th at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans fund. www.dav.org
