Harry Bass

Harry Bass, 81 passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009. Harry was a native and resident of Tampa and is now at peace with the world. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Sheila, daughter Laurie of Las Vegas, son Todd of Miami, brother Ted and wife Liz of Tampa, uncle Frank of Tampa, sister-in-law "Butzie" Ginsburg of Chicago, and granddaughter Lily of Las Vegas; also a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and many friends. Harry was a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned his Business Administrative Degree. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and Naval Reserve. He was a long time member of Congregation Rodeph Shalom. Harry will always be remembered for his love of laughter and his memory will be cherished forever. Graveside services will take place at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Martin Luther King Blvd on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Life Path Hospice 3010 W. Azeele St. Tampa, FL 33609. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to them for their care and compassion.
