Grigori Kratser

Grigori Kratser, 64, died July 1, 2011, with his family by his side in Tampa, FL. Grigori was born August 7, 1946 in Bobruisk, Belarus to Leyba and Maria Kratser. After completing military service and obtaining bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Grigori with his family emigrated from former Soviet Union to the United States. He resided in Tampa for the past 17 years of his life. Those who knew him best will always remember a strong, wise and outspoken man with a sharp sense of humor who was an avid enthusiast of innovations and new ideas in the field of engineering and science.

Grigori is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lilia Kratser; daughter Mila Friedman and her husband Igor Friedman of Tampa; son Igor Kratser and his wife Anna Kratser of Tampa; and granddaughter Sophia Friedman. Visitation will be Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 12:00 with services to begin at 1 pm at the Segal Funeral Home - Beth David Chapel, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. Burial will take place in the Gan Shalom Cemetery, 3527 East County Line Road, Lutz. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to LifePath Hospice or American Cancer Society. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all.
