Glen Powell

Glen Lee Powell, 30, died on May 7, 2008. The son of Ronald G. and Virginia L. Powell, he is survived by his wife, Vivian, his parents, a brother, Steven and a sister, Jenny Wallis. Glen was born Nov 8, 1977 in Okinawa, Japan. He participated in youth baseball and soccer, and played the piano. Later, he played the French horn in band and orchestra. He wrestled at Brandon High for two years. After a semester at HCC, he served a mission from 1996-98 in BogotA�, Columbia for the LDS Church. He joined the US AF in 2001. He married Vivian Springsteen in 2002 in the Orlando, FL Temple. Glen left military service in 2007. He was an active member of his church, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He will be missed by his family and friends. They realize he is in a far better place and enjoying the association of those in his extended family on the other side. Funeral Services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, May 14, at the Brandon Ward Chapel, 1412 John Moore Road. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am at the church.
