George Alan Shay

SHAY, George Alan, 91, of Homosassa, passed away on February 3, 2024. George was a Korean War Veteran and a phenomenal cook. He loved to make meals for his loved ones. He lived life to the fullest and will be sorely missed. George was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Frances Shay and wife, Ruth Shay. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Rubenstein, his two sons, David (Rebecca) Shay and Michael Shay, granddaughter, Stephanie (Derek) Braun, great granddaughters, Kylie Griffith and Maci Braun. 
A graveside service for George will take place on Friday, 2/9, 11 AM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
