Gay Apfel Glassman passed away at home, on October 12, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Memphis, TN on November 3, 1941, to Herman and Katherine Apfel. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wendy Waghalter.

The passing of Gay is felt with great sorrow from her friends and family. She had an incredible spirit with a passion for the fun side of life and was always joking with a huge smile on her face. She lived a full life where she was constantly surrounded by loving friends.
She leaves behind three wonderful sons; Hal (Kristy), Glen, and Craig (Lesa) and four grandchildren; Adam, Sara, Zane and Max. She also leaves her devoted companion, Ken Stevens, who has been by her side for the past 10 years.
There will be a Celebration of Life, where she lived, at Paradise Lake Resort in Lutz, FL on November 11, starting at 4:00pm with a tribute until 6:00pm and a reception starting at 5:00pm.
