Frances Weill

Weill, Frances Groner, also known as Esther G. Weill, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at age 94 in Tampa. A native of Shreveport, LA, she had lived most of her life in New Orleans, LA, where she worked for LSU Medical School. The last of seven siblings, she is survived by her niece, Paula Zielonka, of Tampa; a niece, Ruth Lebovitz of Franklin, TN; ten other nieces and nephews living in California, Colorado, Louisiana, Maryland, and Texas; twenty-four great nieces and nephews; and fifteen great great nieces and nephews. She will be interred in Hebrew Rest Cemetery in New Orleans with Rabbi Robert H. Loewy of Gates of Prayer Synagogue officiating. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Friends of Weinberg fund or the Harry & Jeannette Weinberg Endowment at T.O.P Jewish Foundation
