Florence Shepard

SHEPARD, Florence S., age 94 of Tampa died on her birthday, Sunday, January 22, 2017. Mrs. Shepard was born in Brooklyn, NY and came to Tampa in 2012 from Boynton Beach where she had lived for 15 years. She served proudly during WWII in the U.S. Marine Corps. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Saul Shepard. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Merrill and Steven Marx of Tampa, sons and daughters-in-law, Barry & Laurie Shepard of New York, NY and Evan & Perri Shepard of Wilton, CT, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Clifton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice. Condolences may be expressed online at segalfuneralhome.com
