Eva Black

BLACK, Eva, age 102, of Tampa died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Black was born in Hartford, CT. and resided in New Haven, CT. before moving to Tampa five years ago. She taught elementary school for many years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Louis G. Black. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Saralee Black of Tampa and Richard & Rita Black of Wash. DC, sisters, Ruth Duboff of Bradenton, FL., Shaye Rosenfield of Bloomfield, CT., brothers, Judge Simon Bernstein of Sarasota, FL., and Irving Bernstein of W. Hartford, grandchildren, Daniel Black, Michael Black, Natasha Black and Hillary Black-Diamond and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Connecticut. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hillel School of Tampa, 2020 W. Fletcher Ave., Tampa 33618.
