Ethel Field

Ethel Field, age 73, of Tampa, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Mrs. Field came to Tampa in 1942 from her native New York. She was an active member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom for over 65 years, a member of the Rodeph Sholom Sisterhood, life member of Hadassah, and was a valued and dedicated volunteer at the Synagogue. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Dennis; daughters and son-in-law, Judith & Brett McDonald and Shell Wicker, all of Tampa; son and daughter-in-law Michael & Donna Field of Oldsmar; sisters and brothers-in-law Marylyn & Ronald Berman of Maitland, Dorothy & Bob Katz of Altamonte Spring, FL, and Barbara Brooks of Tampa; sister-in-law Helene Kramer of Tampa; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Thursday April 28, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Congregation Rodeph Sholom 2713 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom or LifePath Hospice.
