Estelle Oster

OSTER, Estelle "Bootsie", age 93, of Tampa died Saturday, March 24, 2018. Mrs. Oster was born in Atlanta, Georgia and came to Tampa in 1944 and along with her husband, owned Hillsborough Plumbing Supply which they operated until 1980. Bootsie was a long time member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, member and past president of the Rodeph Sholom Sisterhood and currently volunteered countless hours as a valued and loved  member of the synagogue Mitzvah Corps. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, William Oster. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin & Reena Oster and Dr. Gerald Oster & Jo Warwick cherished grandchildren, Aaron (Kelli) Oster, Corri Oster, Sidney Oster and Ryan Oster and three great grandchildren. Bootsie professed as she lived, the highest form of "Tzedakah", to always do what is in your heart without ever asking or expecting anything in return. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 AM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom.
