Emily Rifkin

RIFKIN, Emily Hertz, age 25 of Tampa died Friday, November 19, 2010. Emily was a lifelong resident of Tampa and a 2004 graduate of Gaither High School where she participated in the choir, drama club and worked on the school newspaper. Presently, she was working towards her journalism degree at USF and was a member of Congregation Beth Am and NA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. & Mrs. Aaron Hertz and Harvey Rifkin. Survivors include her beloved parents, David & Roberta (Bobbfie) Rifkin, devoted sister and cherished niece, Laura Rifkin and Lilianna all of Tampa and her loving grandmother, Sylvia W.Rifkin of Trumbull, CT, several aunts, uncles and cousins living in Connecticut, New Jersey and Georgia and many special friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1:00 PM at Congregation Beth Am, 2030 West Fletcher Avenue, Tampa. Interment will follow at Hillsborough Memorial Park in Brandon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Emily Rifkin to Congregation Beth Am.
