Emanuel Kamen

"Jerry", age 92, of Tampa, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Mr. Kamen came to Tampa over 35 years ago from his native, New York. He was a highly decorated combat veteran of WW II where served his country proudly as a paratrooper with the US Army's 82nd Airborne. He was a former member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek in Tampa. Survivors include, his beloved wife of 67 years, Bernice , son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Sara Kamen of Oakland, CA, daughter and son-in-law, Judy Lynn and Larry McMillan of Boerne, TX, five grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the charity of ones choice. Funeral services with full military honors will be held Monday, 2:00pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
