Elwin Saviet

SAVIET, Elwin Lawrence, age 84 of Tampa died Monday, August 26, 2013. Mr. Saviet came to Tampa in 1981 from his native, New York. He was a U.S. Army veteran a graduate of Rutgers University and worked for I.B.M for over 30 years. Prior to coming to Tampa, he was a longtime member of Congregation Sons of Israel in Tampa he was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Lita, sons and daughters-in-law, Howard Allan & Sandra Saviet and David Mark & Annette Saviet, granddaughters, Elyse & Michelle Saviet and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stan & Joan Levine. Elwin was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom Education fund.
