Elizabet Kanter

Elizabeth "Lee" Kanter, age 82 of Tampa died Thursday, July 16, 2008. Mrs. Kanter was born in Brooklyn, NY and came to Tampa 25 years ago from Boca Raton, FL. She was a member of Congregation Kol Ami. Survivors include her beloved husband of over 60 years, Howard, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Mary Kanter of Tampa, Kenneth & Devra Kanter of New York, and Brad & Eileen Kanter of Tampa, daughter and son-in-law, Gail & Steven Baker of Tampa, sister, Lillian Bernstein of Brooklyn, NY, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday July 18, 2008 10:30 AM at Congregation Kol Ami 3919 Moran Road, Tampa. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 9365 US Hwy. 19 North, Suite B, Pinellas Park, FL. 33782.
