Dr. Samuel Bukantz

Dr. Samuel C. Bukantz, 97, of Tampa, died Sunday, October 19, 2008. Preceded in death by his wife Jewell in August, 2008, he is survived by daughters Dorothy Bukantz and Jessica Blueberry; and granddaughter Emily Claire Blueberry. Dr. Bukantz was the first director of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Internal Medicine at USF and chief of the Section of Allergy at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 23, at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Ave., Tampa.
