PASACH, Dr. Arthur, age 85 of Lakeland died Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Dr. Pasach was born in Pittsburgh, PA and served proudly in the U.S. Army Aircorps during the Korean Conflict. He graduated among the top of his class from University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He was a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and was a senior partner with Rehabilitation Electrodiagnostics Group and practiced medicine in the Bay area since 1958. He was the founding Medical Director and was instrumental in establishing the Tampa General Rehabilitation Center. He volunteered in Sarasota for the Easter Seals and Polio Clinic and was recipient of a lifetime achievement award presented jointly by the Florida and Southern Medical Societies of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and was a member of the Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Patricia and cherished daughter, Rebecca Lynn Pasach. Survivors include his son and his spouse, Lloyd Pasach and Val Mendoza of Sunnyside, NY, his daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Pasach of Temple Terrace and Margaret Pasach & Mario Costa of Sunnyside, NY, step daughter, Gladys Baxley of Lakeland, grandchildren, Alyssa & Emily Costa and Aidan Baxley and his sister and brother-in-law, Rose & Ed Berman of Pittsburgh, PA. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:00 AM at Segal Funeral Home, 3909 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals or the charity of ones choice.
