Dr. Bernard Franklin Germain

GERMAIN, Dr. Bernard Franklin, age 80, of Tampa died Thursday, March 17, 2022. Dr. Germain was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a Rheumatologist at Oschners Clinic in New Orleans before coming to Tampa where he was the Chief of the Division of Rheumatology at a private practice for nearly 25 years before recently retiring. He was past President and a 35 year member of the National Society of Clinical Rheumatology and a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty, sons and daughters-in-law, Aaron & Erika Germain, David & Ashley Germain, Michael & Mikell Germain, Mark & Reasa Germain and ten cherished grandchildren, Mary Chase, Merric, Tate, Mathis, Gavin, Marison, Sawyer, McCrae, Emily, Miles and his german shepherd Gigi. Private funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross for the Ukraine relief effort.
