Diana Lopez

Lopez, Diana Mortellaro, 66 of Tampa, FL passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her Daughter, Julia Lopez Wright, her two grandchildren, Gavin Christopher Wright and Kendall Grace Wright and their father Christopher Wright, her Brother Vincent Mortellaro and Sister Anna Mortellaro and her fiancAC. Myles LaGarde, all from Tampa and one niece Nicole House, in Greenbay. She was a beautiful soul who always put her family and friends first. She was loved by everyone who met her. She was a graduate of Leto High School Class of 1968 and also graduated from the University of South Florida. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 20 years of service. She was a member of the USF Botanical Gardens for many years. Diana earned a blackbelt in Shotokan Karate and was a Mensa Member. She was also a member for many years of the Congregations Schaarai Zedek. She loved the Performing Arts Center and the Florida Orchestra. A service of her memory will be held Friday May 20, 2016 at the Segal Funeral Home at 4:30 pm. The family will receive friends prior to service from 4:00 to 4:30 PM.
