David Allan Duperrault

–

Valrico, Florida

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Allan Duperrault, affectionately known to many as "Happie", on August 4, 2026. Born in Westfield, MA on January 23, 1950, David dedicated his life to his faith and family. His humble spirit and reliable nature were evident in every facet of his life, from his career as a hardworking pharmacist to his loving role as a husband, father, and grandfather.

David lived in Valrico, Florida for the last 40 years of his life where he was a dedicated member of Nativity Catholic Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, as reflected in his actions as a pro-life advocate and the values he instilled in his family. He spent time taking his sons to pro life rallies. Later he encouraged Katie to become a pro life RN. He was known for his love of the outdoors, often spending his free time hiking and camping. In his younger years he hiked the Appalachian trail, which he left to propose to his wife Janet. A dedicated family man, David was a source of unwavering love and support for his children, even homeschooling them during their formative years. His love for God, his dedication to his family, and his humble approach to life were all testaments to his character. Through his love for God, he built a foundation for faith in his children. His daughter Katie remembers and is eternally grateful for her dad placing her in a Christian private school where she learned who Jesus truly is and that led her to her salvation.

David is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet; sons Bruce (Angela), Jonathan (Noelle), Curtis (Jennifer), and Derek (Meghan); daughter Katherine; and a host of grandchildren: Blake, Jack, Luke, Lillyana, Ellie, Giana, Mya, David, Abraham, Alaina, Allyson, and Mack; his sister Lois; and his brother Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lucille Duperrault; and his sisters Ruth Ann and Linda.

As we grieve the loss of David, we take comfort in the words of Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." And Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." His unwavering faith, love, and dedication to his family will not be forgotten. We encourage family and friends to leave memories and upload photos of David on his memorial page. Your memories will serve as a comforting reminder of the loving, humble, dedicated, and reliable man we were blessed to know.
