Daniel Deutsch

DEUTSCH, Dr. Daniel, age 95 of Tampa died Friday, January 10, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Deutsch came to Tampa over 20 years ago from his native, New York. He served proudly in the US Army during WWII and continued his military service in the Army National Guard and US Army Reserve eventually achieving the rank of Colonel. He was a dentist in New York City for 40 years and was a former member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Dr. Deutsch was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Gladys. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Pam & Steve Blustein of Tampa, sons and daughter-in-law, Marc Deutsch of Los Angeles, CA and Kenny & Wendy Deutsch of New York, and four cherished grandchildren, Zachary & Alexander Blustein, Alexis Deutsch and Samantha Gold. Funeral services will be held today, (Sunday), 3:00 PM at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lifepath Hospice.
