Connie Duglin

DUGLIN, Connie, age 71, of Tampa died Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Mrs. Duglin was born in Peoria, IL. After graduating Salem College, NC, she moved to New York and worked as an international flight attendant for TWA where she met and married her husband. They moved to Tampa in 1978. Along with her husband, she founded the Connie Duglin Specialty Linen Company which has been in operation for over 30 years. She was active in the Junior League, Congregation Schaarai Zedek and Schaarai Zedek Sisterhood for decades. An avid tennis player, she played at both the Northdale and Carrollwood Country Clubs. Connie was an adventurous spirit who loved to travel, try new things and would talk with just about anyone. She was fluent in French and Italian. Survivors include her beloved husband of 44 years, Evan, her devoted children, and step children Jeff, Craig, Laurence & Nanette and five cherished grandchildren. She was reflexively sweet, pathologically optimistic, utterly selfless and projected love and kindness. Private services were held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Duglin Family Camp Coleman Scholarship Fund at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Ave,, Tampa 33609.
