Carl Lipschutz

LIPSCHUTZ, Carl S., age 87 of Tampa, died Monday, July 2, 2012. LIPSCHUTZ, Marcia S., age 84 died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Married 65 years, Mr. & Mrs. Lipschutz are together once again and as in memory, will be together for eternity. Mr. and Mrs. Lipschutz came to Tampa recently from their native Philadelphia, PA. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII and was co-owner of the Doroshaw - Lipschutz & Associates Insurance Company in Glenside, PA for over 40 years. She was a 1945 high school graduate in Germantown, PA and was granted two college scholarships which because of the war she was unable to pursue. After raising her children she began college in the 70's and graduated Arcadia University in 1979 and became a computer programmer. Survivors include their sons and daughters-in-law, Fred & Roberta Lipschutz of Tampa and David & Esterina Lipschutz of Lexington, MA, Mrs. Lipschutz's sister, Anita Doroshow, grandchildren, Spencer Frisby, Jasen Frisby, Evan Lipschutz, Brooke Lipschutz, Michael Lipschutz, Kari Lipschutz, Sam Lipschutz, Miriam Lipschutz, Daniel Ovadia and JoAnne Ovadia and great grandchildren, Logan & Savannah Frisby & Jackson & Violet Lipschutz. Graveside services will be held today (Thursday), 1:00 PM at Gan Shalom Cemetery (located 1 mile east of Livingston Avenue on County Line Road). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Tampa , FL 33618.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Fred & Roberta Lipschutz, 3417 Nundy Rd., Tampa.

Services will be held Thursday, July 5th at 7:30 PM, Saturday, July 7th at 9:15 PM and Sunday, July 8th at 7:30 PM.
