Candy Latter

LATTER, Candy, age 96 of Tampa died Sunday, December 24, 2017. Mrs. Latter was born in Silas, Alabama and came to Tampa over 50 years ago. Candy was a registered nurse and worked as a private duty nurse and at Tampa General where she continued to volunteer after her retirement. She volunteered for many years as an usher at the Straz Center, was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, Rodeph Sholom Sisterhood and was a life member of Hadassah. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Al. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Gloria Latter, and her daughter, Linda Latter, her brother, one of ten siblings, Frank Daniels and three cherished grandchildren, Seth Latter, Jeffrey Podis and Sophie Latter. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 AM at Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Straz Center or the charity of ones choice.
