Brigitte Marks

MARKS, Brigitte Ingabor, age 84, of Tampa died Saturday, April 19, 2008. Dr. Marks was born in The Free State of Danzig and was a Tampa resident since 1947. She was the only child of a prominent, titled Danzig family. She graduated from the University of Heidelberg, Germany with the degree of Medical Doctor. She worked during World War II for the British Army as a translator. She practiced medicine in Tampa for three years after coming to the United States. She then retired. She was a member of the Tampa Bay Society Club. She is survived by her son, and daughter-in-law, Dr. Marcus F. and Dr. Mary Ann Marks and their son, Jonathan D. Marks.
