Bernard Kantor

Bernard Kantor, 84, beloved husband of Anne and loving father to the Kantor children, Michael (Raven), Susan (Doug Horning) and Jeffrey (Jennifer) passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25th. During his 35 year marriage to Anne he was also a loving parent to the Echelman children, Drs. David and Fran, both of blessed memory, Todd ( Dr. Lori), Michael, and Janet (David Feldman) along with being the proud grandfather of 13 beautiful children. "Bernie" was adored by his friends and enjoyed a successful 25 year career with Lerner Shops before becomming a co-owner of Boulevard Shops for 23 years. He was very involved with Temple Schaarai Zedek and Tampa Jewish Social Services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish may contribute to the aforementioned social services, Hospice or Moffitt Cancer Center.

A memorial Service will be held Friday, October 30th, 1:30 PM at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 West Swann Avenue, Tampa.
