Beatrice Newman

NEWMAN, Beatrice Britt, graced the world with her presence for 93 beautiful years and is now at peace with her two children, Fredric Alan Britt and Jackie Sue Britt. Born on October 18, 1915 in New York City and passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family. Grandma Bea was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, wife, and grandmother. Grandma Bea could light up the stage of any show and capture the presence of any room she entered. Her spirit and soul were captivating and inspiring to all that knew her. She was the rock and glue that held her family together. Our fondest memories were centered on listening to her retell our family history and the memories she helped create for us. All those whose lives she touched will remember her for the love, inspiration, and guidance that she instilled in them. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughter in law, Nancy Britt, her ten grandchildren including Thomas, Kristin, Jessica, Colleen, Joel, and Jordan, seven great grandchildren, two-step children, and four nieces. She will never be forgotten, she will be forever loved and missed and her spirit will be carried on forever through generations to come. She is and always will be our guiding light.
