Beatrice Hymes

HYMES, Beatrice, age 97 of Tampa died Monday, January 22, 2018. Mrs. Hymes came to Tampa in 1986 from her native New York. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Bernard. She was a member of Congregation Kol Ami and was active in Brandeis Women's. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan & Ron Pross of Tampa and Sharon Hymes & Michael Schiff of Sugarland, TX, sister and brother-in-law, Edith & Irving Alter of Encinitas, CA, nine grandchildren, Adam (Katie), Rachel (Joel), Seth (Elizabeth), David (Billie Ann), Alex (Ellen), Sarah (Ivan), Eric, David (Autumn), Laura (Aaron) and 14 cherished great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Kol Ami or the charity of ones choice.
