Arline Rippa

Arline Rippa, 91, of Tampa passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Rippa was born in Detroit, MI and was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She was a graduate of the University of Illinois , a self taught artist and a homemaker to three beautiful children. She was very active in the South Tampa community of which she loved. Arline was always known for her beauty and kindness. She loved gardening, music, classic movies and her children. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert Rippa. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Babs and Doug Preiser of Tampa; sons and daughter-in-law, Mark and Elsa Rippa of Baton Rouge, LA and Gary Rippa of Tampa; grand-children, Matthew (Kristine) Preiser , Aaron Preiser and great-granddaughter Aaliyah. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 11:00 AM at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. Special thanks to Jocelyn Bandola, Arline's caregiver of 3 years. Jocelyn and Arline had a special bond and we are thankful to have had her in our lives. She has become part of our family.
