Allan Kane

KANE, Allan Sumner of Miami, formerly of Tampa died Friday, July 1, 2016. Mr. Kane was a WWII veteran serving in the US Navy and was most proud of being "plank owner" of the USS Iowa. Along with his late wife whom he met at Boston University, they were music teachers and he had a number of successful students including his two daughters. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Rhoda. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy Kane & Ed Freeman and Michele & Gary Bovyer and grandchildren, Joanna & Isaac Bovyer. Graveside services will be held today (Sunday), 2:00 PM at Gan Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
