Alexander Pheterson

PHETERSON, Dr. Alexander David, age 94 of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Rochester, died Friday, January 23, 2015. Dr. Pheterson was born in Rochester where he resided for 40 years and lived in Warren, New Jersey before recently moving to St. Petersburg, FL. He had a general medical practice in Rochester and later was a specialist in pathology and psychiatry and was among the founders of Temple Beth David in Rochester. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Helen. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Marion, daughters and son-in-law, Sherry & Jack Blecher of Tampa, FL and Gail Pheterson of Paris, France, step-daughters, Debra Fink and Kim Russell, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and interment will be in Tampa, Florida.
