Albert Segal

SEGAL, Albert G., age 94, of Tampa, died November 30, 2014. Mr. Segal came to Tampa in 2001 from his native Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred Brod Segal and his devoted daughter, Harriette Segal Block. Survivors include his daughter, Trudi Segal; brother, Daniel D. Segal; grandaughter, Lea and many nieces and nephews. He served proudly in the U.S. Army Air Corps from June 1942 until August 1945 with the 52nd Troop Carrier Wing out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He loved to share stories about his experiences in England, France, North Africa and Sicily. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, 9:30 AM at Beth Israel Cemetery (located just east of North Boulevard on Indiana Avenue). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
