Alan Dennis Hellman

(Abba David Ben Mendel) Alan Dennis Hellman, son of Pauline & Murray, devoted brother of Mervin and Joan, uncle of Melissa Lesher, Cheryl Kosciuk & Eli Kosciuk and sister-in-law Ronna Hellman, passed away on January 30, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and received his master’s degree from C.C.N.Y. in history and education. He spent his career as an educator teaching school and especially caring for his parents in their senior years. Upon his mother's passing he relocated to Tampa, Florida. His closest friends in Tampa were Sheila and Brian Shaw. He was a long-time member of Congregation Kol Ami. Burial services will be Wednesday, January 31 at 2:00PM. Shiva will be observed at Kol Ami, 3919 Moran Road, Wednesday and Thursday ( 1/31 & 2/1) at 7:30 PM.
