Abraham Tashman

TASHMAN, Abraham, age 91 of the Bronx, NY and Valrico, Florida died Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Mr. Tashman served proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Although s machinist by trade, he successfully owned and operated a factory in the home decorating industry in New York for many years. Survivors include his beloved wife of over 62 years, Ruth, sons and daughters-in-law, David & Marsha Tashman, Jeffrey & Karen Tashman and Scott & Evie Tashman and seven cherished grandchildren, Craig, Philip, Michael, Shayna and husband Anthony, Jonathan Quincy, Rebecca and Danielle. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 10:00 AM at the Woodstock Jewish Congregation in Woodstock, NY with Rabbi Jonathan Kligler officiating. Interment will follow at Montrepose Cemetery in Kingston, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodstock Jewish Congregation.
